When our founder and President, Christopher J. LaRoche (CJ), a native of Bellaire, Ohio, was just 16 years of age, he began assisting local residents with tree care and removal services. After graduating from Bellaire High School in 2004 and earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from California University of Pennsylvania in 2008, CJ honed his entrepreneurial spirit and drive and continued to grow his company. He purchased 2 ½ acres of land and built the company’s first shop/headquarters located on Commerce Parkway in Bellaire, Ohio. He then incorporated the company which became known as LaRoche Tree Service, Inc. Through his foresight, supervision, and initiative, LaRoche Tree Service has consistently grown and is now positioned as one of the Ohio Valley’s most successful businesses with the organic resources, management, and personnel needed to solve a wide variety of vegetation management challenges for residential and commercial customers alike. In fact, in 2020, Inc. magazine listed LaRoche Tree Service amongst the top 650 of the 5000 fastest growing privately-held companies in the United States.
With highly qualified and experienced leaders and crews in each of its residential and commercial divisions, LaRoche Tree Service provides tree removal, clearing, trimming, stump grinding, pruning, erosion control services and contract biowaste grinding to its commercial and residential customers. It also manufactures and sells timber mats and laminated truck mats for use for off-road access to work sites and construction areas.
